The genre of this film is crime/comedy, its was released in 2004. The director of White Chicks is Keenen Ivory Wayans. The main cast is Shawn Wayans; plays Kevin Copeland. Marlon Wayans; Marcos Copeland.My favourite scene is when Terry Crews who plays Latrell Spencer; wins Marcus in an auction and requests that he takes her out for a dinner while Kevin meets a journalists and wants to take her to Latrell houses; which he has no premission to as it isn't his property, but in order to please the lady he tells her it's his house.However, the mixture of different shots and and quick editing create an effect to show how uncomfortable and scared he feels as the dog approaches. Also, the quick editing created a sense of humor for the audiences as Kevin, put on a brilliant role, as he had to make out as if it was his dog but on the other hand he faced difficult situations with the dog. Finally, the make-up and costume are techniques which were used very effectively to suit the genre. The male actors adapted their roles successfully as they had to act as women. The film challenged codes and conventions becuase in society people find it difficult to accpet that a men can disguise themselves as women. However, i personally believe that the stars who act this role were suitable, both of the actors were successful in acting a persuasive act of a woman which also involved amusement.
